pokemon favorites

Just getting back into pokemon again. Gotta make sure my teams are up to battling!
Looking back on all generations....I think my favorite starters are summed up in this list.
1st gen- Blastoise
2nd gen-Feraligatr
3rd gen- Sceptile or Swampert, really they all were nice
4th gen- Empoleon
There are no fire starters in this list, but that doesnt mean I didn't like them. I have a Typhlosion in my team, and Blaziken was great for battle, but....they lacked a certain charm.
I did not like: Venusaur, Charizard, Meganium, or infernape
Sceptile is one of the fastest grass pokemon, many of which are rather slow. Roserade being another very speedy and powerful pokemon. If doing a starter team, I would definitely include sceptile.
Charizard is harolled as the most popular and one of the best fire types. I dont like Charizard because it is so popular, it has glaring weaknesses because of its dual /flying type, and it was pretty pissy in the anime. It is only popular because it is a traditional fire-breathing, flying dragon. It is indeed fomidible when properly trained, but I would much rather prefer Typhlosion, which can learn eruption, and lacks the /flying type. Having /flying makes Charizard vunerable to electricity, ice, and rock. In exchange, it gives full protection to ground, and half protection to bug and fighting. This is good, but the more popular moves are indeed its weaknesses. Still a strong pokemon, I won't argue that. It only true weaknesses are water, electricity, and rock. But, one good hit from an electrivire or Empoleon, and Charizard is done. I have killed many dragons in my time, fire breathing and not.
Charizard is about as popular in use as Gyarados because of their high power, above average speed, and durability. Gyarados is the Charizard's water equivalent, albeit with higher power and special defense.
Milotic is Gyarados' counterpart, being depicted as a beautiful creature that spreads harmony and peace through its loveliness. It specializes in Sp. defense, the opposite of gyarados, a brash, outrage-prone, and wild, and fairly ugly water dragon.
What I would like to see is a dragon/ice. It would be effectively the same as dragon/water, having dragon as its only weakness. Dragon types are resistant to fire, water, electricity, and grass, the main starter types. Because most dragons have /flying or /ground as their subtypes, they are doubly weak to ice, a dragon's natural weakness. The exceptions being Dialga, Palkia, Lugia, Giratina, and Kingdra. I would like to see the dragon type expanded, although there are alot of dragon look alikes, such as Charizard, Tyranitar, Aggron, and Milotic, and Gyarados.
The oddest draon pokemon I think is Altaria. Its a bird pokemon from 3rd gen, its wings are made of clouds. It could be considered a dragon as mush as Ho-oh could be, yet it is a dragon/flying type.
My favorite dragon pokemon is Rayquaza. Its big, bad, wild, and flies in the ozone layer. Garchomp and Giratina are interesting too.
Heatran is possibly the most unique legendary, being only one that is catchable, but it is the only one to have a gender. Its not very good for use, its fire/steel type makes it incredibly weak to ground and water attacks. It can curiously walk upside down, as if it had suction pads on its feet.
My favorite steel pokemon is Steelix. Its such a nice giant rock snake :3 but not very useful for battle. It is actually ground/steel, which is unique among steel types, but still has around the same weaknesses as rock/steel. It gains resistance to grass, but thats about it. the only thing saving it from complete destruction is its steel type, which is resistant to everything by fire, water, fighting, and ground. Its /ground type gives it no added resistance to any of these types, making it not very good for battle. My second favorite steel type is Registeel. Something about its body and "eyes" are interesting. Its also got battle worthy stats, and is one of 2 pure steel types. The other being mawile, which I thought should have been steel/dark. Of course, a dual dark type would have been detrimental.
A rock pokemon actually useful is aerodactyl. Its speed is vicious, better than most pokemon, making it the fastest rock type. The strongest rock type is Rampardos, having near the highest attack of all pokemon. The highest defense rock type is Shuckle, the next being regirock and steelix tied.

The moon isn't made of cheese, but Zeromus

hehehe, this be my FF4 Golbez rant! Doing much the same thing with Extree-man, gonna try and list some stuff chronologically if possible. More character analysis than timeline though. Golbez doesn't do all that much actually, its more about Cecil and his inner struggles. But here we go!
1. Lunarians, drifting through space, possibly looking for more intelligent life as we are, or looking for a home planet to terraform...happen upon "Earth". They are mostly peaceful, and find that the Earth is inhabited, but humans aren't as technologically evolved as they are, so they are going to stasis until they can coexist together. But....Zemus doesn't like this idea, and wants to exterminate the humans so they could terraform it for Lunarians. KluYa wants to go to earth and speed up the process by teaching the humans magic. KluYa is allowed to go to Earth, while Zemus is locked away in stasis...no one liked his idea.
2. On earth, while he is teaching magic, KluYa hooks up with a human female, and they have Theodore, a first born half lunarian/human. While raising him, KluYa receives some resistance from the humans because they opposed this magic. Meanwhile, possibly sometime when Theodore is around 5-7 years old, (old enough to speak and think clearly about things), his mother is pregnant again with Cecil.
3. Cecil is born, although the delivery takes their mother's life. KluYa shortly after is killed by the magic hating faction of humans, leaving the brothers orphaned. At this traumatic time, Zemus in his stasis still can telepathically see what is going on, and uses his psychic powers to send hypnotic suggestions to Theodore. He breaks his spirit, telling the child he is worthless, he is nothing more than a fly nipping at a great dragon's corpse. A golubaeza.
4. During this time of manipulation, Zemus tells Theodore, who has changed his name to Golubeza (golbez), that his brother is the reason his mother died, and that he has no family now. Feeling betrayed and vengeful, Golbez doesn't kill Cecil, but rather abandons him in front of a kingdom, leaving him for whatever fate decided.
5. It is unknown what happens after this to Golbez, but presumably he was further instructed by Zeromus to delve into the dark arts until his magic was formidable enough to wipe the planet clean of humans. He already by birth had an affinity for black magic, but could not cast white magic, try as he might. He tried upon his mother's death to cast cure, but failed.
6. So, around 20 years later Cecil is employed by the king in his conquest of other nations to wipe out other kindgoms. He becomes a dark knight, kills people without question and his heart is evil. Not totally evil, because he loves Rosa and has a rivalry with Kain over her, but is more following orders. Ok, so sometime, Golbez makes his first move at destroying humans by taking control over the most powerful nation.
7. Golbez, having 20 years of instruction to perfect his magic and inherent Lunarian abilities can use mind control on humans and does so on the king. He controls the Red Wings, an elite airship military branch, of which Cecil is captain to kill particular nations so that he could go steal their crystals unharmed.
----Kinda apart from this-------
1. Feymarch is a hidden land of esperkin, the summoners, and the land of Espers themselves. Time moves differently there, faster than in earth time. Unbeknownst to everybody, magic has been on earth for awhile before the Lunarians got there. Rydia is a summoner, her mother is the Mist dragon, she has an affinity for magic, even more than just being an esperkin. Mist in the ff universe was defined here, more as the evolution of etherwind, and ether being the liquid form of mana.
------Back to timeline story-----
1. When golbez goes to steal the water crystal from the esperkin and eidolons (espers), he is confronted by team and summons the shadow dragon, in which the mist dragon counters and kills the shadow dragon. The team then thinks theyve defeated golbez, and stupidly walk away, only for him to escape.
2. Ultimately after he gains all the crystals, he uses them to activate Alexander---i mean the Lunarian planet terraformer that looks just like Alexander, which will essentially crush all humans and transform the land. The team foils him here too, and break the mind control thats on him. Golbez already had recognized Cecil as his brother long ago, even after having never seen him throughout his childhood.
Note: Golbez was simply given hypnotic suggestions, not full mind control. He was greatly influenced to behave evily and kill the humans, but he also was aware of what he was doing, much like how anakin turned into darth vader because of the dark side influence in Star Wars. When the influence stopped, he was able to think more clearly, he was aware that he must take responsibility for his actions as they were his in the end.
3. Cecil and group join up with FuSoYa (?) who happens to be Cecil's elder uncle, and defeat zemus, who transforms into zeromus, a blob of folded skin and eyes moon monster. Everyone happy again.
4. In the end, Golbez decides to return to the red moon with the Lunarians in their slumber, as they drift in the universe looking for another suitable planet. I believe he feels that he could never possibly stay on earth with Cecil knowing what he did to harm the humans, or the possibility of him being controlled again or just flipping out and like accidentally summoning shadow dragon to come eat stuff.
**So, its kinda a sad ending, but Golbez is quite wise in secluding himself from humanity in order to protect it and his brother. In dissidia, his personality is explored more, as he seems to be in repentance for his actions. He is the only villain on chaos' side to speak with Cosmos, and intervienes to help the heroes. He is possibly among the oldest of the villains too, at least aging about 50 if the After Years is taken into account.
*Aside: Jecht is probably in his mid forties, Kefka is 35, Cloud of Darkness is possibly thousands of years old, the emperor it is unknown, but has probably ceased to age, Garland is probably older too, in the 35-60 range but has ceased to age because of his time loop, Sephiroth is around 30 or so i believe, Ultimecia is like around 35 but has control over time, Kuja is like around 20 I would guess.
There are some remarks he makes to add to this claim about doing things in your youth; he is more reserved and wise fully understanding what he did in his youth was inexusable, now serving as a shadow to Cecil, and protecting him from the darkness. He claims that he refuses to be ruthlessly evil as the forces of darkness and chaos command, yet he cannot belong to the light because of his affinity for darkness. Cecil disagrees, hoping that one day his brother will join him in the light.
---After Years---
In the after years, Golbez comes back with FuSoYa and the other Lunarians because of a mysterious disturbance they think might be Zemus again. The moon has grown incredibly, and for the first time, Golbez is seen without his dark armor. He is shown as a relatively youthful, muscled man, with longer white hair than Cecil's and wielding a large oversized sword. He almost resembles a mountain man if you ask me....no shirt no shoes, only a decorative kilt or loincloth really. Maybe he's going for a more natural, peaceful existence? Odd design, but enlightening.
I think the most interesting thing about the design of after years is that the characters dont really look aged. It could be very possible that Lunarians age at a different rate than humans, much like esperkin in Feymarch, but Rosa and Kain are human, and look perhaps slightly older than they were 17 years ago, but not much. They still bear their youthful, rinkle-free skin and no facial hair or signs of aging. Kain even gets some young, stylish, white dragoon armor when he accepts his dark side.
A last curiousity of Golbez though, he is shown in the DS remake that he had short cut, brown hair and eyes when he was little, yet when he is older is shown to have long white hair. Could his hair color have changed over time as natural for Lunarians, or is it simply a feature of his age? Its hard to say because Cecil also has white hair, and has had white hair from youth to middle age. His son Ceodore also has short, styled white hair. Perhaps this was simply a feature not thought about in the DS remake. Its not a big deal, just curious. I would think that its not a feature of his age, it seems all Lunarians, or even those with but a little Lunarian blood have white hair, but rather that in youth they may have different colors, but in age it changes to white. Kind of the opposite of cat eye color....they are all blue at first, but change when they are older.
***So, a troubled man in repentence for his evil, ever loathing and loving his shadow. It makes us reflect upon the predicaments life brings upon us; such is the existence of Golbez. A much more difficult and interesting villain than most, almost as in depth as a hero. Not very menacing I suppose, save the armor, but then again he never was all evil; only a distraught and angry puppet. Zemus gave him a reason to fight by breaking his spirit when he was at his lowest, and twisting his mind to reject humanity, to blame them for his pain and suffering, and to train him for the purpose of revenge. Only upon age can he look back and realize how misguided he was...but it is unclear if he still dislikes humanity. It can be speculated from his dialogue in Dissidia that he believes human friends will only live to betray, so he does still hold a grudge against them, but not enough to kill them.

The void, the void, the void!!!!!

Grawr! The void! Submit to it!
This is my ekutsudesu rant! Oh where to begin....I guess at the beginning! Okay!
1. There was Enuo. He was a powerful mage. He created the Void and used it to cause havoc in the world. He was defeated by 12 legendary weapons, 12 heroes. He dies, his soul doesn't though.
2. Void is sealed within the rift, space between the two worlds. Made by breaking crystals into two halves....the world splits into 2 different dimensions.
Note: It can possibly be presumed that there was no such things as black holes before this event then.
------somewhere in between Enuo's death and possibly 100-300 years before the main game----
1. Enuo is reincarnated as a tree in the forest of Moore.
2. Somehow or another, demons got sealed into it. Possibly through demon absorbtion, or people of the time sealing the most powerful/troublesome demons into tree.
--------1000 years after Enuo's death------------
1. Main game. Exdeath emerges from the tree form, having compiled enough demons to transform and gain powers and stuff. Obviously, he then causes havoc being an incarnation of Enuo, and possibly on a revenge run.
2. 4 warriors of dawn defeat him and seal him into the rift with the Void. One stays in the second world to make sure he doesn't escape there.
----------30 years later-----------------
1. Dorgann makes a family, hes like 40-50 now, in the second world. His son is Bartz, the game's hero.
2. Exdeath has been draining power of the crystals, primarily of the second world to break his seal from the rift.
3. He succeeds in doing this and goes to the 1st world to wreak havoc and again revenge. He builds a floating castle out of human flesh, and declares himself lord ruler of it as he continues to learn the secrets of controlling the void.
Note: He is a reincarnation of Enuo, not Enuo himself, so he has to learn how to control the Void all over again, albeit easier, but it takes some time still. 30 years and he still hadn't fully mastered it.
2nd Note: While in the 1st world, he is mainly draining the power of the crystals there to break the seal on the Void so he can use it. In the meantime, torturing humans and taking over their kingdoms was something to do.
4. New dawn warriors go to 1st world and attempt to break into his castle. Exdeath just finishes his barrier on the entire place, and the heroes are tossed somewhere, miles away.
5. Heroes gather the old dawn warriors, and together they go try and unseal the guardian tree that houses the 1st world's crystals, the key to the seal on the Void. But fail, as exdeath drains the last of their power and they break.
6. Void is unleashed upon hapless cities as the worlds fuse back together into one. The rift still remains though, oddly enough, just not between those worlds anymore. It is still connected to the world, but is more like a satellite dimension like heaven and hell would be. I guess a creation of a hell would be the appropriate event. Within the rift, exdeath promised demons that they could live there and cause whatever havoc they pleased.
7. Exdeath moves into the rift after he is defeated at his castle, and sets up camp there. He knows how to control the Void now, and lets his roots grow as his true form still is a tree. The heroes go into rift too, and defeat him there.
8. Exdeath is consumed by the Void, and transforms into Neo-Exdeath, which is a compilation of all the demons inside of him. He really loses it this time, and wants to destroy everything at all costs, then himself. Needless to say, Exdeath has a condition I like to call, focused insanity.
-----------
He has a one track mind, though his planning is quite well done. I read once a question, why does he want to destroy everything with the Void? And the response: -Who the hell knows!- This is the easy way out, but I think I can come up with a more fulfilling answer. I think he wants to create a sort of perfectness with the Void, as everything is combined and time ceases to flow, it is an "inevitable eternity". This may be true; in the far distant future we may all be consumed by black holes, but the problem arises when he tries to force this eternity on people much too early, sort of like an imbalanced reaper; hence the name "Ex-death".
Note: Another reaper in ff9, Kuja is similar...a balancer with a mind and motive of his own strays off his path, and is only corrected by Zidane, yet another reaper who has completely disregarded his purpose. Although the main difference here is that these reapers are artificially made, while Exdeath was naturally grown.
--Warning: Deep thoughts ahead------
Still it doesn't quite make sense. People still exist within the Void, matter cannot be destroyed. As seen in ff5, exdeath was consumed by the Void. In ff3, Cloud of darkness emerges from the Void. Spirits, humans, and demons alike are sucked in by the Void. It really is just an alternate form of existence, everything is combined, mashed together, in an infinitely small space, that inside could be infinitely large as space is. I suppose the thing I get confused about is why not just leave the world the way it is if he doesn't intend to rule over this singularity? It is not very easy to understand the reasoning of the insane and deranged, but I think on one hand, he does want to rule over it...and does with much skill; on the other hand he wants to be a part of it, it is an inevitable fate, or possibly because one can't rule over stuff if there's nothing to rule over...I don't know. An interesting predicament is...one cannot effectively rule over something and yet be a part of it too...not in that sense.
-We are human, we rule over other humans, though are still part of the human race. But, you cannot rule over yourself, as in one individual over another, unless you have split personalities. You can only rule over yourself by yourself in saying that no laws apply to you, no one rules you but you.-
I guess the only way for it to make sense is to consider what Exdeath is...he's made up of many smaller demons being ruled by one main guy with horns and a jewel. So he would fit the whole multiple personailty deal, a main self ruling over your other selves, as a whole being both the subjugator and the subjugatees. Go personality disorders! Anyway, backing out of the deep thought, exdeath pretty much sums it up in his phrase, "the laws of the universe mean nothing!" He has control over one of the oddest and most powerful essences of the universe, so why should he have to make sense to anyone. He breaks and makes laws as he goes along...really.

***So, that's all I have to say about Ekutsudesu today. He's mean, kinda green, and a Void controlling machine. Alright, so he's aqua in the game and more light blue in dissidia. Is he an ass? Yes. Most definitely. Is he a badass? Up there with Sephiroth in my opinion. A little cliche, but that adds to his charm...or hatred I suppose. A good villain is one you love to hate, and he certainly fits the bill.

Thanks givings all around

Thanks for everything, everyone. The nation says thanks today, but unfortunately only once a year.... Hmm, we are quite selfish arent we. Oh well, now to the meat and potatoes and juice of my rant today: thanks squarenix for final fantasy games. lol. More more in depth, I want to look at Final fantasy 5 again. It piques my interest not only once, but twice! There must be something more to it then. Often overlooked, ffv was just as great as any other "classic" ff game---also Exdeath's theme is one of my favorite villain themes in Final Fantasy series, among Kuja and Seymour's themes. Classic ff's have that snes feel to them, the stories are also very much alike; yet explore some very odd realms. I think the classics explore more and push literary capabilities more than recent and new games do, with the exception of 10 perhaps. Looking back, FF1 was phenomenal for its time story wise, I still can't even understand it! XD Going back in time, to corrupt the future and all that yummy paradoxical stuff. FF2 a little less amazing, but still good...Mateus' soul splits into good and evil while still being primarily evil...one is ruler or hell, other of heaven it seems. Kinda generic, but ok. It is another game that is easily overlooked. FF3 introduces the whole Void idea and adding more elements to the ff universe-- so far there was: fire, water, wind, earth, light, darkness, and void. Void is not really an element of the crystals though....its more of a space-time trash can. lol. a black hole dimension really, where everything is dumped....ff5 elaborates on this idea, as the Void is a black hole, it is alive as much as it is active, it cannot think for itself, but yet it is much like the processes of the earth, they occur, but there is no reason why they occur, they just do. The earth doesnt think for itself, I'm going to do convection today :3 So that being the case...Exdeath controls the power of the essence of black holes. Since no one really knows what happens in a singularity, it makes for a good game realm/topic. In the FF universe, appartenly inside the singularity that is the Void, there is space...basically all that it has consumed, so stars, worlds, ppl, spirits, etc. The places that get abducted by Exdeath still exist as stated in a previous rant, they just are in different dimensions. It works out nicely that upon the defeat of neo exdeath, the places get put back, but there shouldnt be any reason for this to happen except at the will of exdeath or of a person in control of the Void at the time of his downfall. It should be noted that exdeath never "dies", but is merely never heard from again. I think that his soul is trapped within the singularity, which provides a nice way for him to not return for a third performance. An anime was made as a sequel to this game, one i have not yet watched but would like to. But yes, my next rant will be about exdeath. Anyways moving on...ff4 was so interesting; very sci-fi like, yet still fantasyish. The appearance of a 2nd moon, (deathstar) basically, but with a whole race of ppl on there, the Lunarians. I'm not certain, but I believe the Lunarians are capable of telepathy and limited mind control, but as an example of Zemus and Golbez, it is limited by proximity and blood. Zemus could only control other Lunarians it seemed, and Golbez was the only half-lunarian of age to understand and be influenced. It is one of the few ff where the main villain is connected to the hero by blood, and afterwards repents for his actions. again crystal elements are essential to this game, and light and darkness are present as well. Cecil makes a decision to become the embodiment of light, a paladin, while Golbez is the embodiment of darkness, further than a dark knight...a warlock, who through lunarian magic training has developed his powers and unlocked his magic potential as much as a half lunarian can. I would assume that his physical appearance is the human traits kicking in, most Lunarians depicted are somewhat frail beings physically, while Golbez has a built physique. Without ranting too much about him, lets continue...each interesting villain will probably get a rant cause there stories are not revealed as much as heroes. Lastly, ff6 was pretty standard, the introduction of the backstory of espers was revealed and added in the ff universe; they arent just summons, they come from the esper world. Being half esper, terra can do "trance" a special ability allowing one to gain the powers of their esper heritage. This was the only ff where the villain actually won in a more definite sense....Kefka suceeded in taking over the world...and it was up to the heroes to rebel from what was left and bring him down. Alot of people like Kefka because he reminds them of Batman's Joker, although Kefka is more of a flamboyant nihilist who attained god-like powers. It is questionable how much of a nihilist he is, as it was 1-2 years after the take over when the heroes finally arose to stop him. He seemed complacent in destroying what was known as the natural world, but twisting it into a harsh dark world instead of simply destroying it..as in vaporize. There is no villain capable of that as of yet in the ff universe. The closest to a classical sense of destroying the entire world, and not just cleansing it of humans is probably exdeath's sceme or ultimecia's time compression. That's all I have to say on the classic ffs. Tune in next time when I rant about exdeath, story of ff5 explained in a semi-logical fashion, as I go down the list of ff villians. :3

Zora---heads or tails?

So....hello again! Back with another rant today. This time its all about Legend of Zelda, and Zoras. I was considering dressing up as a zora, specifially queen rutela, from twillight princess. She's so pretty! I've researched Zoras before...and ranted about it before, but have gained a little more insight on their specifics. It seems that as for the Sea Zora, the menfolk outnumber the females by alot. This could explain that why all of the female Zora are in high status positions and are honored/valued. Females are usually distinguished by their large bulbous heads, with minature eyes on them. I have concluded though that this might be a trait of only young female zora--that it might take longer for their full head tails to grow, and as children and young adults they simply have sort of nubs. Males as seen from Prince Ralis have tails from the begining, that simply grow into fuller tails as they age. The reasoning then why Rutela's head-tail is long and sinewy instead of blunt is that she is older. Much older as to outlive her husband.
Then there is the matter of diversity within the zora species. It seems that they are just as diverse as hylians, having different colorations and physical appearances. Some zora's fins behave much like hair would, while others simply hangs down as would long ears or a head covering. Still others do not have extra head fins at all. Queen Rutela is the only Sea zora to have a stingray or manta -like head tail instead of regular fish fins seen. This must also be a variant. The ancient zora spirit in Wind Waker was one of few females to have a full head tail with fins. This reinforces my theory on tail length related to age.
-My next ecamination is of the male zora. There seems to be alot more variance with them, even in form. Some zora resemble young hylian men, save for their tails and fins, yet others appear as bloated pufferfish or even toadlike--like Toto or King Zora. The reason for this is unknown. I suppose it simply could be the large variance in Zora, or it could be that Zora males on the heavier side, not only change weight, but grow into or change forms. It also seems that Zoras in leadership posistions are very bloated fishlike beings, maybe this is a shared trait that distiguishes them...like queen and princess bees, or it could just be that they are very fat. It could be the lineages of Zora as well; perhaps some having mixed lineages with River Zora, which are more amphibian and monster like in appearance.
-River Zora also apparently have a king, but he simply resembles a large river zora. River Zora also seem to have a large diversity in appearance, but all of their seen forms are similarly monsterous and/or bestial in appearance. They span from a rouge group of Sea Zora that rejected the old ways, and for some reason hate most Hylians as well as other intruders upon their territory. At least I think thats what I remember. In their rejection of "humanity" they evolved to take on a more bestial and fierce appearance, looking and acting more like wild fish than a civilized society. All river Zora have been seen to have fins on the sides of their heads, although some can walk on all fours, and others are strictly bipedal. Still more have true fish tails instead of legs at all. I can perceive very little about the society of River Zora because very little has been revealed. The seem to have a heirarchical system just as Sea Zora do, with a king and queen, and royal family. Their way of life seems to be very territorial, aggressive, and violent.
I think that's all for now, maybe I'll get started on a costume or two :3

Blazblue Calamities

So I'm back again thinking too deeply about game characters. But, I think in the case of Blazblue it was intended, cause it has a very deep storyline, unlike 90% of fighters out there. I commend it for having such interesting and yet distinct characters apart from GG. Also, for having such pairings/relationships between main characters which is not really explored in GG, other than maybe May/Johnny, or an imposed Ky/Jam. In Blazblue, however, the characters are all intertwined and have stronger bonds with each other, such as Litchi, Taokaka, Tager, and Hakumen. The most interesting possibly romantic relationship in the game is actually Jin/Ragna, which is unusual for any game, even an anime based one. Nu has a similar relationship with Ragna, which makes it an even more twisted. The game seems to revolve around these odd, incestuous, affairs. Although it cant be proven that Jin and Ragna and Saya are blood siblings, they seemed to be raised as such.
*I think most of Jin's obsession with Ragna stems from a childhood of neglect, the dominance of Terumi, and the influence of the Yukianesa. His theme song is also called, Lust SIN, as the name insinuates, I think Jin has an obsessive lust for Ragna, a twisted lust that would allow him to take pleasure in killing his own brother. He seems to be possessive too, and although it isn't clear that he disliked his sister, Saya, whenever he sees Noel, who is probably Saya, he says he can't stand her face. I don't think this stems from hatred though, more like regret and pain of loss, and the wanting to forget what happened. It is this reason he is so distant from Noel.
*On the other side, Nu has the same twisted romantic interest in Ragna that Jin does, but only because she is programed as such. Her whole purpose in life is to meet up with Ragna and sacrifice them both to the cauldron to summon an ancient evil. (or something) She also is a clone of Saya.
*Poor Ragna, he always seems to be caught in the middle of things. He's really not evil, just street hardened i think. He has everything taken away from him, and then the ones he loves are turned against him in odd and devious ways. Jin turns out to be an icy bastard who has an incestual love for him, and Saya assumes a new identity as Noel who wants to arrest him. Ragna seems to ignore Jin's odd love for him, mostly because they are fighting all the time...What for? I have no idea. I think Jin starts it, something about he wants to kill him again. Noel and Ragna don't have much interaction until the end, but they seem to have a friendly, platonic relationship.
*Noel and Jin don't seem to get along much, they have very little interaction too, Noel simply wants to carry out her orders, and only slightly worries about Jin being so aloof and oddly abandoning his post. They also share a more cold, but platonic relationship.

Dissidia Maddness

Dissidia is fun. Adicting and fun. I should be asleep right now, but I've got thoughts to sort. Trying to make sense of Garlands story....I havent unlocked all the Chaos reports, but from what Ive read on the interwebs....So FF1 deals with Garland lusting for power, like most villains...and kidnapping Cornelia, ransoming her in exchange for the kingdom of which he got tired of being a mere knight. Ok. Warriors of light come along with their darkened crystals and nearly kill him cause he kinda sucks at that point (or cause the crystals still have remnants of power, its irrevelant).
-Breaktime
Fastfoward to the near end of game, fiends are responsible for the darkening of crystals power= destruction of elements/world. WoL defeat fiends, and crystals light restored.
-Stop
Ok. Rewinding a little bit, Garland while sucky makes a pact with the fiends to send him back in time 2000 years for some reason...There, he becomes Chaos and also gains immortality because of a never ending time loop.
----question 1: Pact: It might have read along the lines of... In exchange for my {garlands} life, I will give you my body as a conduit of your power. The fiends, wanting to be undefeated/live forever agreed and sent Garland back in time.
Back to story. WoL go back in time using crystals, and defeat Garland/Chaos. Breaks time loop, but does not kill Garland. He is still waiting for them, destined to fight them as long as they survive/fight. End Story for now...
[Problem1: The main problem. Time loops and mechanics. Without getting into detail, if you were born in 2000, ask a time mage to send you back to 1974, you will create a time loop. You will never age because everytime you are born, the cycle will reset itself. The game gets around this by Garland never dying after the capture of Cornelia. So as long as Garland never dies in this cycle or is killed, time will repeat itself over and over.]
[Solution1: Just as with time loops, there exists a bit of randomness in all instances. The WoL are that instance. The future can be altered even though it has already happened in this sense. By defeating Chaos, the WoL have broken the time loop so they think, but Garland is still alive, and they are transported to the time before he made the pact, before the time loop.
************Interjechtion********Because Garland was merely an avatar for chaos, and not originally chaos himself, his human form is spared, while the demon is destroyed. This explains partly the end of the time loop, Garland no longer can become chaos because that ends in his demise, but! Garland is free again to choose his own path, because his human form was technically never killed. None remember what they had done, however. Time was reset.

*Story continued*
With dissidia, Garlands story is further explained/confused. Apparently, he was an orphan, adopted by Cid and his wife. But, he was taken away by some evil scientists who infused him with generic energy and did experiments on him to make him a better warrior. It worked, but left him mentally scarred and thin. His adoptive mother risked her life to save him, but failed when they were spotted escaping. Somehow.....Garland unconsiously summons the void, and gets sucked into it. What happens after is a mystery.
------Interjechtion------- Garland accidentally summons the void. One, what was this guy injected with?? Essence of Exdeath? How do u unconsiously summon the void? Whatever. Looking past that, this story can work, doesnt matter, but the important part is after he was consumed by the void. He might have been transported to the world of FF1 by it, since the Void is merely a limbo-like place....it transports matter into other dimensions, not eradicates it from existence. He might have met chaos, cloud of darkness, exdeath, or anything else for that matter, though i doubt it.
Ok. So, Garland has some serious mystical powers even before the time loop. Doesnt change much. Putting it altogether, i think...Dissidia interrupts at some point before the death of Chaos and the resetting of the time loop in FF1. Or perhaps Garland continues this time loop somehow after his defeat. He has dormant mystical powers after all. But, he makes several refrences to how Chaos, while being a separate intelligent entity, does not have any memories---he merely is plopped there, and has a dream about Cosmos and is infused with memories and direction by Garland. He still think and operates by himself, but his origin is not elaborate. Because Chaos did not exist until the four fiends gave him their power, and furthermore, until Garland transformed/served as a body for him. This would explain the closeness of Garland as a servant, yet he addresses Chaos more as a brother than servant/master. The fact that Chaos is merely a phase of Garland that has manifested itself is unknown until the near end and is even unknown to chaos himself, but he suspects it.
Finally, Garland as a char, like most ff villains is scarred, flawed, or messed up in some way that alters his actions in the future. There are very few villains that are simply straightfoward evil. He is bitter because it is unknown how many millenia he has waited before he was separated from the time loop fate, but because of this he is also wise and more reserved. The extent of his corrupted mind is unclear, but he seems to have an obssession with time loops are cycles, as well as conflict. He references himself as the embodiment of conflict, as he will always survive due to the time loop. Even if that world was destroyed, chaos, and garland would be reborn in another where there was conflict according to the great will. He almost seems to want the cycle to end though, and dares WoL to end his looping fate if he can. Ultimately, Chaos would destroy reality with Shinryu the reaper, who follows the instruction of the great will, and is therefore exempt from time laws. It would be in essence, Chaos killing himself, which leads to nothing but a rebirth somewhere else. The WoL would need to kill chaos for the cycle to end, because it is fate from someone else's hand---a random card.
This is it, my thoughts on garland. This is not to even scratch the surface of the dissidia world and mechanics within that world. Another time perhaps.

Galacta Knight Puzzler..

Ok, I found this one post about 10 months ago now, and yes its old, but its still one of the top posts on google...anyway, it dealt with an idea someone proposed about Galacta Knight in KSSU. They said that GK must be MK from the future. And theres alot of ppl saying different things of course. But, from what I can gather... a year later after research and much thinking about all things Kirby super star..No, Galacta knight is not MK from the future. This is what happened: Kirby defeated Marx and sent him flying into Nova, thus exploding it....cause Marx is ultra powerful.. at that time, Marx would have been probably the most powerful creature in the galaxy, even more powerful than GK. He has freakin' lasers coming out of his mouth and can split his form to make black holes >.> all GK has is a fancy pointer and some knights. Marx wished for himself to be a star (conquerer) destroyer. OK. Anyway, when MK took the journey to meet Nova, his collected star power revived the destroyed comet (not with all its parts). At the time after Marx's defeat yet before his revival, Galacta Knight was again the most powerful being in the galaxy. GK was sealed away long ago for fear of his power. Now here is the tough part. Heres one statement: [If GK was sealed away long ago, he should still be sealed away in the present. It should not reference that he defied time to fight you.] Therefore, at some point in the past....probably before mk or kirby existed, GK was killed or did not exist in that dimension's timeframe. If this is true however, the statement should better say he defied space to fight you. --->I'm thinking that GK was merely a great warrior that was sealed away in a timeless void maybe by someone in the past wishing on nova. He was probably really dangerous, cause he fought every warrior he saw in a quest for power.
--->He is not related to MK or Kirby, but is the same species. It seems puffballs tend to have the potential to become the most powerful rulers in the galaxy. He is also not MK: 1. because he is pink, 2. he wields a lance and shield, 3. he has angel wings and horns. He looks very similar to MK, and they have the same goals, but is not related. For all we know, puffballs might have a tendency to have lusts for power, since they obviously have the potential. Kirby is still a baby, he doesnt count in nearly any of this, but even so, has an amazing ability to copy forms. He has potential, but lacks the lust for power....only gluttony. Which is a baby step towards wanting ultamite power, i suppose. Getting off on a tangent now, it would be cool if kirby and mety fight when he's all grown up. but, i think kirby growing up around meta knight, and all he encounters will teach him moderation. The very mistake of GK was probably gaining too much power, with few limits. Even mety knows his limits, and when to back down from a fight. Like when Kirby defeats him XD That's why he's a survivor from the war.
--->Back to topic. Galacta knight was proposed to be future Kirby. This is wrong too. Galacta knight is a different color than kirby really. Its close, but GK is more magenta than pink, really. He also doesnt display any sucking abilities, which is kirby's main power...The only reason that GK summons meta-knights is cause it makes it easier for developers. Theres no significant reason why they're there. They are harder minion enemies to fight than waddle dees, and kinda come close to GK design. GK was meant to be filler for the mk battle that you obviously didnt fight on the halberd level. The game is screwy, but it doesn't often let you fight yourself in a boss battle....Only take down your own ship >.>; I'm just gonna say it was possessed by shadow bugs....yeah....Of course the final battle could've been Marx again, but that really wouldn't have made sense... So yeah, GK is appropriate. You have to fight sword to lance, in an old fashioned duel. Not many more flashier powers, you both are on semi-equal footing. I kinda would have like to have a meta knight option for the final 4 battle...Meta knight vs marx soul :3 hmm....maybe even mety backed away from this one. Even the most powerful things can be beaten.
Reporter: Meta Knight, you are now the most powerful being in the galaxy! What will you do next?
MK: Go back to poptart....I mean popstar and let Kirby kick my a$$ again until the next game, when I try to pretend like I'm actually doing something. (lol)

Kirby x Mety-Why this maybe should not exist rant

I am a fan of yaoi pairings as any other anime fan girl, but I have some issues about this particular pairing... I like it, don't get me wrong, I think its cute and maybe a little sexy O~o but still....
1. I'm pretty sure mety is probably straight....not saying this for sure...I've had my suspiscions before, but at least I think he's mostly straight.
2. Kirby is classified as a baby star warrior. Based off anime...Meta Knight is probably at least 1,000 years old (guess). Which is much older than Kirby in any case. He is portrayed as an older mentor, a grizzled war survivor. Kirby x mety is therefore bordering on pedophilia. That said, I don't have a problem with that either in an anime sense, but I just wonder if any supporters of that pairing have realized this, or if they just dont care.
-Kirby i think could go either way really, he's still a kid.
3. Some have speculated that Kirby is a relative of Meta Knights. This has been denied by meta knight in the anime, but still some people believe. It is a popular theme in anime, but kirby x mety pairing in that case would also mean possible incest.
-Darkness abounds in Kirby. You just have to read between the fluff and stars. Not that I really care...I'm all for some hot puffball on puffball action! Yes. I said it. After the tings I've seen on youtube, might as well throw in Galactic knight too, heck I'll even stretch it, throw in waddle dee, and you've got a puffball orgy goin on. Have I blown your mind yet? :D
-Not gonna deny it, I like kirby yaoi---truly, I don't have a need to see orgys going on though. Just kind of amusing to think about.

Also, kind of side rant: Yes, we all know now that under the mask, meta knight is as cute as kirby. I think it's correct that he wears it cause no one would take him seriously if he didn't. Also, I think his outer appearance belies his true emotions. He wants to keep his emotions a secret from everyone, that whole cool, mysterious persona. Doing that, you only let people know what you want them to know, and deny everything else. Being behind a mask gives a sense of power and aloofness. It just adds to his character really. You never know what side he's on, if he's a scary foe, or loyal friend. If you play or watch more, then you find out that he's the good guy, just tends to follow his own rules, and stays out of conflicts if it doesn't involve him. Dark Meta knight is the opposite, he's all chaotic and evils. I don't remember dark mety very well though, so i cant say much about him. Maybe ill research a bit more now. Or play the game again. He didn't appear in the anime....I wish I could make an anime...but animation is so hard...it takes so long...still, maybe ill try. A better anime...with more characters updated since nightmare's defeat. Then again, thats a major project.....oh well, an idea for another person/team/franchise....*hint* *hint* i'd like to be apart of that.

Guilty Gear Thoughts...

Hihi, quick thought~ again...
After reading about guilty gear babes from game daily...(usually dont read stuff about hot women) i get no real enjoment from it.... anyway! I came across dizzy's picture and a little snippet on her. Her parents are kinda shrouded in mystery....I don't recall the wiki info, and am too lazy to look it up, but from various info places of which i don't remember exactly, but I have pieced together that most likely, Sol Badguy (Frederick) and Justice were her parents. I remember reading something that Sol was a scientist working on a superhuman thing~ err...gears, yeah, and he, himself was the prototype. If I remember right, (its been a year or so) he had a wife way back in the day, and I believe she got turned into Justice. Maybe she died, or was very ill and to save her, he turned her into Justice...wouldn't that be a nice story? --and make sense? Anyway, thats my hypothesis. Dizzy's parents were Sol and Justice. Of course with the game's timeline that makes no sense, but hey, it works for me. Dizzy is supposedly 3 years old? And Sol and Justice were together like.....50 years before the game's events? Unless they recently got together...but then that might work too...
Hypothesis #2:
-Sol and Justice got together before the experiement to turn her into a gear, and maybe a gear's gestation period is really long. @~@ its a plausible idea!
-One thing I'm fairly certain of, Dizzy must be Justice's daughter. There isnt any official stuff, but they both are humanoid/dragon gears. I think Sol was the father too because he was once full human, and Dizzy retains her human appearance.
Hypothesis #3:
-Very doubtful, but Ky might have something to do with it too. He was also in the Order, but the timeline would be messy. Ky is like what 24 something? Both Sol and Justice are decades, I think like 70 years old...(Times may be innacurate, dont feel like computations, but they are in the ball park)
Hypothesis#4 (kinda):
-Testament should be mentioned, but I highly doubt he has anything to do with Dizzy's parentage. He seems to regard her as a friend, and protects her.
-I-No would know all about Dizzy's parentage, being able to time travel and what not, but she has a bigger boss pulling her strings, and it never really is revealed. I highly doubt I-no is dizzy's mother.
Hypo #5:
-Another explanation is that Dizzy is not actually 3 years old, but it merely took her 3 years to reach her late teens, and that is where she has stayed for like 50 years or so. This hypothesis may work, because Sol is also a gear (kinda) and he stopped visibly aging for like 70 years, but it would not explain her innocence of the world.
-There are definately some missing pieces and holes...where the player can fill in themselves.
Next Topic: Sol gear form
-Fact: the headband on Sol's head keeps him from turning into a bloodthirsty gear.
-Fact: Because he is a prototype, he doesn't respond to Justice's commands.
-Order Sol's 1-hit kill is where he turns into the gear form and destroys the enemy. He has wings and horns, but is still fairly human looking.
Thoughts #1:
-Sol seems to be near immortal, or at least has lost his ability to visibly age.
-He stole one of his own "super" weapons when he quit the Order. There's like 2 or 3 more pieces, I forget, one is Anji Mito's fans. I believe the third is ABA's Key, but maybe that's something different. It only says that they are relics from a war or something. I would like to see all the pieces of the ultamite weapon together. I could only imagine its something like power rangers, or maybe transformers, where they fit together somehow or mutate into a different form.
-Interesting character, from key scientist to seemingly dim-witted brute. I suppose that's the intrigue too...secretive yet simple. It reinforces the notion of "dont judge a book by its cover", this renegade heavily muscled brute with a fire sword is also the one that invented the gears.
I suppose that's why they call it guilty gear, cause Sol bears the guilt of creating the gears, which were uncontrollable and wreaked war against humanity.
Next Topic: Robo-Ky
-Robo-Ky is a broad name referring to not only one, but many. They are fairly crudely made and somewhat comical androids made to mimic Ky Kiske.
-I forget, but I believe they were made by the one big bad boss man that also controlls I-no, and the Order perhaps.
-Their purpose changes from game to game...I actually forget what they were originally supposed to do...but I don't think they were supposed to kill Ky-Kiske inherently. They were made to mimic him, to fool people, and possibly manipulate them into doing things the real Ky wouldn't approve of or do. (Ky is a real boyscout, zealous to a fault)
-They seem to have a limited AI. I'm not sure if they learn from mistakes, maybe the newer models do...They follow orders, but also inject their own sense of thought and personality. There are even some renegades that deviate and go AWOL. They usually are to be destroyed by other loyal robo-ky.
-The newer models seem to be more sophisticated, and in AC seem to have developed a shovanistic personality, with gender specific remarks. He seems to like well endowed women who can cook...except he doesnt eat human garbage...I think he even goes as far as comically ordering one of the female characters to marry him. ...I suppose in the future, human/robot relationships will be a hot topic. Match.com will mean something. lol. eh..I suppose if Sol and Justice hooked up, why not a robo-ky and Dizzy or Jam? He also dislikes Bridget for being an impostor :p 100% woman or nothing it seems...
-Obviously robo-ky are the exact opposite personality of Ky Kiske. They are lackidazical, all have attitudes, shovanistic, and use somewhat underhanded gadgets to overcome their enemies. Personally, I like the palm gun, fiery steam, 6-armed assault, and missile out of knee routine. They are quick attacks, some of them, and especially the steam catches the opponent offguard. To make up for this, robo-ky is very heavy and fairly slow.
-Despite all of his gadgets, robo-ky themselves don't seem to have mindboggling strength. They seem to be on equal footing as Ky Kiske, only really touching players with their sword, or briefly grabbing players to slash or electrocute/drain their overdrive energy. Only works if theres an energy mat below them though.
Semi-Side Note: Robo-Ky Mk.II
-Robo-Ky Mk II has only appeared in one game i think, guilty gear XX. He is red colored and was built by some random scientist, trying to mimic the capabilities of standard robo-ky. Its been so long since I've played XX, I don't even remember what his personality was like, but I do believe it was different from regular robo-ky. I dont even remember the gameplay, whether it was different from reg robo-ky or not, so I'll get back to him...maybe.
There's my rant for the moment. Robo-ky has and is still my fav guilty gear char. Bridget and dizzy take a tie for being the most annoying to me. I think I-No is my least favorite, just because she's like a thorn in my side, she's annoying, cheap, and the standard final boss for arcade mode.
I also like to play as May, she's up there on the list of being the most fun to play.

Fish Flubs

I have recently gotten into the fish business...With good and bad...results. I have had 2 goldfish and a betta for nearly a year now, and decided it was time for some more fishies, maybe exotic tropical ones..
Everything seemed to be all planned out...except i didnt know much about the fish i ordered @~@; housing angelfish with a large goldfish wasn't one of my brighter ideas....anyway, the two are now separated...but more and more im having trouble with fish housing and related diseases.
I recently got a 29 gal tank which I decided would be half terrarium/half aquarium...which didnt work out as well as i had planned, but once i got the truckload of gravel, it did kinda. I saw an adorable Halloween crab for sale on ebay, and bought it, and it was so pretty! I really liked it, but I had absolutely no "real" clue how to take care of a crustacean. I had never even seen one housed in an aquarium @~@; lobsters either...except in the supermarket XD so many mistakes after mistakes...it turned out to be a half baked, expensive, fishy disaster...Deaths, illnesses, filters, cycles, so much stuff.
I have small tanks.....for small fish. I observe what they say on the internet...1 fish per 10 gal of water....but i also ignore it alot of times cause i like companion fishies. I dont try and crowd 25 fish per 10 gal now....but I think crowding is a major problem now....heck, i dont even have tanks for 2 of my fish @~@ theyre just in isolated bowls...well...quarantine bowls. But I've got fishy problems all over the place.
I have a 10 gal tank I'm proud of....ive had it for nearly a year housing a fairly large shubunken and a calico fantail...but i got cocky i did...now ive got 4 baby angelfish and a catfish in there..they all seem to be having fun cleaning the tank of algae and swimming around.
Next. I have a 5 gal tank by my bed that I got about 3 weeks ago....I don't know where it is in the Nitrogen cycle.....I'm guessing Nitrate. I need new testers I do. I have had 4 small black moors in there..I call them my poopers. Thats all they do...night and day...I cut back on their feeding >.> Well, during the housing crisis, i put the calico fantail in with the poopers....I figured, they look like theyre cousins, they'll do fine. And..they did, for awhile.
Next. I have a 29 gal i bought like a week ago....never had anything that big, but how hard could it be? wrong! wrong! wrong! There was gravel everywhere, the ornaments broke, and I had the ingenous (at the time) idea to mix sand substrate with gravel. I had always steered clear of sand....thought it was only for marine fish. Anyway, 1/2 tank is sand...1/2 tank is gravel stacked up to form a nice mountain. A very difficult to sculpt mountain...I waited until everything settled before putting 5 angelfish in there with a crab on top. I thought it was a good setup. Angelfish looked fine, crab looked.....it had looked better.
*Problem #1: Crab wasn't eating. It was moving from time to time, trying to escape me, but not eating anything. I gave it everything I could think of...shrimp, flakes, pellets, wafers, worms...nothing! I kept it nice and humid in there...there were water jets and a heater...and he had places to hide, under ornaments and stuff. I may have handled him too much....i was so curious...i had never handled a crab before. Poor Sir Kibble.... RIP my friend. Sir Kibble was smart, he knew he was gonna die and tried to drown himself, he did. I caught him before he did! But he just went in a corner and starved himself to death I think.
*Problem #2: I discovered a mysterious pimple on my angelfish's head the day after I got them. I immediatley quarantined it in a small bowl, and went to look up diseases. I haven't been able to identify it, but I have heard of someone else having the same problem. So far, I've poured in a bit of melafix everyday with a 20-50% water change. He seems to be recovering.
*problem#3: Tumbles, the smallest of my moors started floating >.< I don't quite understand why....he had been doing fine for like 2 weeks...I quarantined him in a bowl too...where he sat on the bottom for a day. I read on the internet, it may be constipation..he hadn't pooped in awhile now that i noticed it. Tonight I fed him a pea, and he seems to be doing better, swimming around, all active and such. I think he wants to be put back with his friends.
*problem #4: I bought a new betta on...mm...maybe thursday..ive been to petsmart everyday last week i think. I have Lunneth, my aqua/blue betta for almost a year now in his bowl in my room, all decorated and such. He eats everything...If he were big enough, he would probably eat a fish. But anyway, Sol, as I've named him, my new orange betta isn't eating anything. He too is in a bowl with a filter and heater and little bridge to hide under. My room collects heat....the temp is always ~80 F. But he has a heater anyway, I've tried everything...even peas. He will look at them, but never go after them. I have no other choice but to wait.....I want to keep him in peace, and have as little contact/interruption as possible, but how am i going to clean the tank? Hmm.....that will probably scare him so bad. I think i will got to petsmart 2morrow and see what they fed him. Right now, he is listless...floating at the top, or hiding in the bottom wedge of the bowl...
Well, it may not be that bad....Lunneth does the same thing XD but he just swims and sits anywhere for uncalculated amounts of time, doing nothing...........................maybe ill get him a friend :3 Lunneth was a Walmart fishy...he gave me a look that said he wanted to come with me, and has been a happier fish ever since. I will increase his swimming quarters sometime in the future...but its better than a cup labeled "male betta".
*problem #5: I feel the need to tear down my well built 29 gal tank...It has some dangerous killers hiding within....I don't know what and I don't know why......because i need more testers, and the store is closed. But I will find out the reason all the bottom feeders have been dying in the tank within a day. I fear it is something sinister and microbic.....perhaps anerobic bacteria in the sand? or nitrogen on a rampage? all the free swimming fish are fine.....just the bottom feeders....I've tried 2 bichirs, and 1 pleco...all dead within 1 day. The pleco was comming apart actually....it was quite disgusting...like a shark had snacked on it or piranha. I've been thinking maybe i should get a carnivouous fish to eat all the dead ones that keep plopping up....x~x; but im going to get to the bottom of this....hopefully without anymore deaths.
That's all for now....getting tired of complaining about fish.....got stuff to do, and too stressed out worrying so much.

blogity blog blog

Been awhile since my last rant. :p Well, something interesting crossed my mind today before I started eating...which means I'm hungry right now. Anyway, I was thinking about yaoi. And, alot of non anime fans I find think of it as some sick fangirls and a few fanboys hobbies. They don't understand it, don't want to understand it, and just view it as if we were watching like electro-bondage pornography or something. Well, I've come to find there are some lines beteween yaoi and yuri, and hentai, as well as american versions of it. Its just different really...in america we don't have real distinctions in shows, comics, etc. with homosexual relationships not being connected with sex or pornography. There are, but the mainstream view is still leaning towards that, I think.
(There's also the big focus, and usually the humor of the show when there are homosexual relationships. Why is that?)

Now, here is what I find interesting: in pornography, it is always more excepted that men can watch and want to see lesbians, or women on women; but it has never been expressed that some women might want to see gays, or men on men. Now, am I a crazy anime fan girl for wanting to see yaoi hentai? I don't think so. I think I may be crazy for other reasons, but in that regard I'm just as normal as any other person. I am heterosexual, but I also enjoy reading the manga about multisexual relationships. It makes it more interesting, its not just a strange hobby meant for the backcorner of one's closet. Well, that's my rant for today. I think there should be more yaoi anime on tv. Maybe I'll make some ^^;
(On a kinda side note....why are alot of gay men so pretty? It's not fair... :( When I was single, I used to see quite a few at the anime expo..not just in costume...and I wondered, and probably kinda wished if they were bisexual...I probably would have explored something like that.) O-O but I am taken now, and quite happy my man isn't bisexual....cause that means I'd have twice as much competition to fight off! This way its simple...I only have to repel other women :3

On the Social Behavior of Cats

Recently, I have been studying human cat relations. I would like to share my findings with the general public, so that they may become aware of the subtle nature of cats, and better understand them.
***
Domestic cats are classified as felinus sylvestris domesticus or something like that. One should know that their senses are almost all above ours for independent survival in the wild. They have been domesticated for about 8000 years, hoewever, it seems that they have changed little in those millenia.
A "socialized" cat as we call a cat that has been introduced to humans, and has had a wide experience with its environment, usually will greet the human(s) in one or more ways.
**Tail posistions, flicks, wags, and other movements are nearly as versatile as our fingers when we use sign language. Cats communicate messages quickly with their tails, but many expressions are subtle and are often overlooked by humans.
-Humans use sign language when they cannot speak or hear, but sign language is very distinct and identifiable by us because: 1. our hands are in front of us, and at our listener's attention. 2. Having 5 or so fingers flailing around is much more exciting than 1 large tail flicking and moving. Its not as interesting to us, so it becomes more subtle and hard to catch.
*Many common signs we have learned from cats' tails are:
a. greetings
b. emotions
-Although cats do not have a specified language, as some humans seem to think the "meows" are, they talk with their bodies more than humans generally.
-Cats also have a more relaxed societal structure than ours; that is not to say more primitive.
We observe chimps and other primates has having complex socio-political structures. Well, cats do too, but it is far less obvious in the domesticated house cat with only a human or one or two other cats around.
*Cat social structure revolves mostly around resources, and dominance over those resources.
-Although they often bicker, cats seem to be more willing to share resources with others, even if they are limited.
-In a housecat, the cat often picks a favorite human or type of humans. Ex: the son of the house, or only likes women. That human becomes the cat's property, part of its territory, and a viable resource---as well as a companion if the cat knows you well.
a. That being said, it depends on the cat whether it is protective of you, being it's territory, or sees you as a protector, a guide, or simply a giant it can use fo its own purposes.
-Like people, all cats have different personalities. They share the same traits of the feline species, (just as we do with primates); they are intelligent creatures, and recognize much more than people think. Cats have been observed to understand the differences between mamalian familes, and will give nearly the same responses to an orangutan as a human.
-One or rarely two cats will usually assert dominance over the others when in a multicat household or clouder. (clouder-name for a group of cats, ie:flock of birds) The dominant cat in a clouder is often male, and if the food is being provided by a human source, will often let others eat from his resources as long as he gets his fill. In this case, the feeder is human; the cats have not caught the meal on their own, and therefore it has slightly less value than if it was a fresh kill.
However, food is still food. If there are not enough resources, then fights may occur.
In the household, the dominant cat may be male or female, and may have more disputes between each other if they feel their bowl is being threatened. Perhaps they just dont like each other, or in this sense, the provider is human, but the dominant cat may have claimed the human for itself.
**As one can see, cats have a good sense of judgement and what I call "cat-math". They cant be expected to do differential calculus--most humans can't either, but thats only because its writen and based in our number system. Cats don't understand nor respond to foriegn systems. They just don't care, but they do have their own form of math for practical uses.
Cat math comes into play when they gauge the distance they need to jump on to the favorite chair, or across roofs.
-It also helps them gauge how much food is available for all cats. If the resource amount doesn't add up to the number of cats, then there might be a fight to deter the others. The cats deterred are not random, but based on familiarity and family ties, etc.
What's more interesting is that they can calculate this nath all in their heads too. Its usually very accurate, and doesn't use numbers whatsoever. After all, numbers are a human thing.

kirby costume crazies and comets

Happy New Year everyone!
Lately, I've had the costume crazies thinking about cosplay. I have come to this question basically...As I mentioned in an earlier blog, I am a kirby fan, and o2 intrigues me. Btw, I have confirmed that its name is zero two, instead of O2 as in Oxygen. I had not played Kirby's Dreamland 3 before, so I was not aware of the final boss, Zero. Zero is actually quite comical and odd looking. A giant white ball with an eye in the middle, nothing fancy...It does bleed though, showing there's more to Kirby games than meets the eye. It may be a kid-friendly, insane world of pop stars and fluff, but on the inside its filled with drama and strife. It seems like every other villain wants to pop up and take over dreamland, or popstar, or everything. If its not Meta knight, which motives seem to be whatever he feels like at the time, then its dark matter, dedede, nightmare, or marx. Marx I have been curious about for awhile. I have only recently heard/seen him, I saw pictures including him in Kirby Squak Squad, and assumed it was from the show: Kirby: Right back at ya! I have yet to confirm his role in that. I looked on the internets and there is little info about him, except his role in kirby superstar/ ultra. He is the most demented final boss I've seen in a kirby game to date, mostly because of looks. His eyes bulge, his tongue is out with fangs, and he wears an odd jester's hat with a red bowtie. I do like Kirby Wiki's statement of Marx Soul. It says something like when he absorbs the power of Nova, he becomes a bit mentally unstable. Lol...like he was ever stable in the first place....That thing looked insane as soon as I saw it, no help of nova at all. And....what the hell is Nova in the first place? The game says its a comet....but its the most ****ed up comet I've ever seen. Its like a gigantic golden disk with thrusters in the back. Its has nice purple eyes that can move independently of each other, like a chameleon, but I still dont know where its mouth is....it has like balls in place of its mouth. I dunno what else to call them. There two connected ovals that are part of the golden plate...they may resemble a mustache or a bow tie, but not really...It seems to be some sort of machine, or artificial comet because its clockwork gears can be seen and it talks in processed short sentences. A large mechanized comet that can grant wishes....hmm. I dunno what the developers were smoking when they thought up that....

Anyway, back to my question....Mini rant there...Should I dress as 02 human form...or actual 02 round ball form? Hypothetically presuming that both would take the same amount of effort...which would look better? I have not seen either done before, and I would like to pay tribute to my favorite games, Kirby being one of them. I was going to do a meta knight costume, but I might not if I can do an equally good 02 costume. It would be for masquerade only probably, being so big and all. Well, thats all I got for now. My gum kinda hurts cause I think I burned it earlier. Gonna try to sleep, goodnight, goodmorning, goodday, and all that.

I recently realized that Nova's mouth is supposed to be cat like, which makes it cute, but...still anyone that plays the Superstar Ultra game for the DS will realize that in the screenshot it looks like a protruding ball-like mouth, not a cat face.... :3
